Angie Ewalt, N.P.Angie Ewalt Dukes, a Sulphur native and a US Navy Veteran, is a Board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing to provide health-care services to individuals. She began her nursing career as a certified nurse assistant at Holly Hill Nursing Home in 1993.
From there, she joined the US Navy where she served as a dental technician for six years. After her honorable discharge, she returned to the Lake area and enrolled at McNeese State University. She earned her Associate's RN degree in 2002 and attained her BSN in 2012. She completed her Master's in Science-Nursing in 2020 from Northwestern State University. The 20 years of nursing experience she brings with her into primary care include emergency medicine and inpatient cardiology. She completed clinical rotations in pediatric, adult, geriatrics, pulmonology, cardiology, and urgent care settings. She has a passion for nursing as well as the opportunity to service the community as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She and her husband live and worship between Sulphur and Groves with their six children. |
