In the U.S, colorectal cancer is the the second most common cause of cancer deaths!  The key to preventing colorectal cancer is screening, including 
colonoscopies, FOB tests and cologuard. Screening can start as young at the age of 35 if family history is present.
While stage 1 is 90% curable, only 38% are diagnosed at this stage. Colorectal cancer screening can find precancerous polyps so they can be removed before they turn into cancer.
This cancer does not always cause symptoms. Symptoms include blood in stool, lasting stomach pain, losing weight and not knowing why. If you have any of these symptoms you should contact your physician immediately.
